PCGH, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to oversee residential and/or day service operations for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI). This role is responsible for supervising staff, maintaining compliance, and ensuring services are delivered in a safe, consistent, and person-centered way.
This position is a natural next step for experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), DSP2s, or team leads who are ready to move into program-level leadership while staying connected to the people we serve.
What You’ll Do
Program Oversight and Operations
- Manage day-to-day operations across assigned homes and/or programs
- Ensure staffing coverage, scheduling alignment, and continuity of care
- Maintain structured, stable environments that support independence and quality of life
- Monitor program performance and address operational gaps quickly
Staff Leadership and Development
- Supervise, coach, and support DSPs and DSP2s
- Lead onboarding, training reinforcement, and ongoing performance management
- Set clear expectations and hold staff accountable to policies and standards
- Assist with staffing needs, including coverage when necessary
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure adherence to NC 122C regulations, CARF standards, and PCGH policies
- Oversee documentation accuracy, including service notes, incident reports, and financial records where applicable
- Maintain audit readiness and respond to internal and external reviews
Person-Centered Support
- Ensure services align with each individual’s goals, preferences, and support plans
- Promote dignity, respect, and meaningful engagement in daily activities
- Address concerns or incidents promptly, with a focus on safety and outcomes
Communication and Coordination
- Partner with QPs, clinical staff, and leadership to ensure coordinated care
- Communicate effectively with families, guardians, and stakeholders
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to agency-wide initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting individuals with IDD, TBI, or similar populations
- Prior leadership experience (Lead DSP, DSP2, or similar role)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of documentation and regulatory expectations
- Ability to lead a team, address issues directly, and follow through
- Reliable, practical, and team-oriented approach to problem-solving
Schedule
- Full-time position with flexibility based on program needs
- May include evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
