Job Description

Program Manager

Location: Chicago, IL

We are seeking a Program Manager to lead the management of large, complex programs that span multiple IT and business departments. In this role, you will support the initiation, planning, execution, and delivery of programs and projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and third-party vendors while managing project dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain program roadmaps and plans across multiple related work efforts
• Manage cross-functional teams, project dependencies, milestones, and deliverables
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple functions and initiatives
• Facilitate meetings with large audiences and complex topics
• Communicate program updates and progress through presentations, strategic dialogue, and written reporting
• Liaise with stakeholders across all levels of the organization and manage expectations
• Monitor program financials and recommend budget adjustments when needed
• Provide oversight across multiple projects to resolve conflicts, resource constraints, and critical path issues

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field
• 7+ years of project management experience, including project initiation, execution, and delivery

Skills:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience in the hospitality industry
• Familiarity with project management tools (Smartsheet )
• Experience with Agile delivery or Agile project management on IT projects
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
