We are seeking a mid-level to experienced Program Manager to lead Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs ranging from $5M to $50M, with a focus on Programs of Record. This role is critical to our delivery success and requires hands-on experience managing U.S. government contracts from the supplier/contractor side. You’ll be responsible for the full program lifecycle—planning, execution, and delivery—while serving as the face of the program to internal and government stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
-- Lead and manage a DoD Program of Record (PoR) valued between $5M and $50M.
-- Serve as the primary interface between government customers and internal delivery teams.
-- Oversee program performance across cost, schedule, and technical execution.
-- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and status reports.
-- Ensure program compliance with DoD acquisition policies and customer contract terms. -- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: engineering, contracts, logistics, field support, and finance.
Required Qualifications:
-- 5–10+ years of program or project management in a defense contracting environment.
-- Demonstrated leadership of at least one DoD Program of Record from the industry side.
-- Working knowledge of the DoD acquisition lifecycle.
-- Experience managing stakeholder relationships with Program Offices, PEOs, and Contracting Officers.
-- Proficiency in program management tools and concepts (e.g., IMS, EVMS, WBS, Risk Mgmt.).
-- Current Active Secret clearance required, TS/SCI
(Ideal) Qualifications:
-- Experience managing Army Programs of Record, particularly under PEO IEW&S, PEO C3T, or PEO STRI.
-- Familiarization with Electronic Warfare (EW) and Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO).
-- Former military experience or operational understanding of Army/Tactical systems.
-- Familiarity with rapid acquisition pathways such as OTAs or Middle Tier Acquisition.
-- Experience transitioning prototypes into PoRs.
-- PMP certification or similar credential.
