PALS, Inc. is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Program Director in the Simi Valley area, supervising an excellent and diverse team of professionals providing direct supports for adults with behavioral challenges, and restricted health conditions. PALS, Inc. is a trauma-informed agency and serves adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The Simi specialized services site is currently completing licensure by the State of California. The program will be behaviorally focused and also will provide healthcare related services.
The Program Director is a supervisory position reporting to the agency ownership. The Program Director maintains a professional office and is responsible not only for the workforce and the care of the program participants, but also serves as a liaison with families, care providers, and outside agencies such as California Department of Social Services, and the Regional Center system. The successful candidate will be excited by the professional challenge of leading and developing a first class team.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree with a preference for persons who a graduate level background and/or who have a demonstrated history of being in a leadership and supervisory role over 10 or more people at a time; the candidate will also have exceptional leadership skills, experience working with teams, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be skilled at time management, and will be competent in essential Microsoft office applications.
This is a full-time position for a skilled professional who will be the very first Director of this program. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 AM - 4 PM. PALS offers a generous benefits and compensation package for the successful candidate.
