Duties: Responsibilities of the position include: The Program Controls Manager will be developing program level schedules, developing Program Management Execution Plans, and responsible for reviewing and reporting on the Program's progress. The Program Controls Manager will review budgets and recommend funding levels necessary to implement each task and subtask, provide spending forecasts, track and report on overall Minority Business Enterprises, conduct progress meetings, review and establish the schedule and prioritization for work tasks. The Program Controls Manager will provide support for developing a dashboard to display the work order status, KPIs, inventory status updates and other key performance parameters, and any other program controls tasks assigned to the program management team.
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering, Construction Management or related field. PE, CCM, PSP or PMI certifications desired.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Engineering, Construction or Construction Management required with a focus on scheduling and project controls.
- Proficiency with software "MS Project" is a must. Proficiency with Primavera P6 is desired.
- Water and utility work experience is .
- Thorough understanding of and experience in construction scheduling, program scheduling, and cost & resource loading required.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications and an ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in Adobe Acrobat, MS Office Suite applications of Outlook, Word, and skilled at performing data evaluation, formulas and metrics in Excel.
Work is generally performed in an office environment.
