We have an immediate opportunity for a Program/Contract Manager in the Los Angeles County area. This position requires working two or more days in the office.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • This position will review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts and consulting service agreements including internet and e-commerce-related contracts primarily consisting of online advertising insertion orders, statements of work, marketing and promotion agreements, non-disclosure agreements, recruiting agreements and other commercial agreements
  • Responsible for managing portfolio of physical security technology capital projects valued at $10K-$1M
  • Ability to interpret and draft contractual for the agreements incorporating legal and business concepts
  • Responsible for reviewing contracts for acceptable terms and negotiating changes as appropriate
  • Lead efforts to mitigate risks associated with projects, alerting PMO managers and key Corporate Security stakeholders of problem areas while working mitigations with project teams
  • Responsible for reviewing physical security engineering plans/drawing, to ensure solutions align with established security standards
  • Communicate daily (in person, on calls, and email) with variety of personnel in support scope, schedule, budgets, and coordination of vendor field activities
  • Maintain and present project status reports for projects to ensure financial progress
  • Lead vendor activities to ensure construction efforts are executed by established schedule
  • Attend field job walks as required
  • Monitor contract expirations and contract renewal, where appropriate
  • Integrate complex negotiation terms leading to the establishment of appropriate terms and conditions
  • Special projects, as requested
  • Occasional travel, up to 20%

 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or other related fields
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must
  • 5 – 8 years in program or contract management
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience developing medium to complex project schedules using MS Project
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Experience maintaining project budgets and developing financial forecasts
  • Experience interpreting and/or designing electrical single-line and logic diagrams
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) drawings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop and manage relationships with both internal and external contacts
  • PMP certification desired
  • Experience with OSHA safety desired

 

Upon a conditional job offer, a drug test and background check will be required.

Compensation based on experience.
