ISQ Recruitment is working with a well-established engineering company in Ely, who are looking to appoint a Production Team Supervisor to oversee a small team on the shop floor. This role is about leadership, organisation, and supporting your team to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently.



About the Role

You'll lead a small group of production operatives, making sure daily tasks are completed to schedule and to a high standard. Alongside running the day-to-day, you'll also support improvements in processes, ensure safe working practices, and keep communication flowing between production, engineering, and planning teams.



Key Responsibilities



Lead and motivate a small production team, ensuring daily targets are achieved

Support hands-on production activities when needed

Monitor quality standards and highlight issues early

Maintain safe working practices and keep risk assessments up to date

Run team meetings to communicate priorities and progress

Identify training needs and support team development

Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations What We're Looking For



Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within manufacturing or production

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads

Good communication skills and the ability to support, coach, and motivate others

Practical understanding of safe working practices
