Job Description
Summary/Objective
To ensure that the daily shift plan developed by the Department Manager and Scheduling is executed and that product quality, departmental productivity, labor efficiency goals, and other objectives are met. To promote and lead LINDAR safety, quality, and productivity programs.
Essential Functions

- Supervise and coordinate production activities, including roto molding, and product assembly processes.
- Follow and execute production schedules assigning tasks and priorities to production teams.
- Communicate production goals, expectations and performance metrics to production teams.
- Monitor production processes and equipment, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.
- Train and mentor production team, providing guidance, feedback and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with production schedules, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Conduct regular inspections of production areas and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods, coordinating with supply chain and logistics teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and maintenance teams to resolve production-related issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports and documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely production information and documentation.
- Support Lean principles and practices and encourage participation in LINDAR safety and Lean initiatives.
- Interview, select, and participate in the on-boarding process of new employees
- Review and approve timecards, schedule and approve vacations, develop and monitor employee performance improvement plans, and recommend employee discipline as necessary.
- Schedule employee overtime as necessary.
- Participate in team members’ performance reviews.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong leadership skills
- Previous experience in production supervision or manufacturing management.
- Supervisory experience (minimum of 3 years)
Work Environment
- Professional, clean manufacturing environment with safe levels of temperature and sound variations
Physical Demands
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Significant amount of walking
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is an exempt, full-time position (40-50 hours per week)
