Production Supervisor third shift (2)

Job Description

This automotive tier 1 non-union supplier is seeking 2 Production Supervisor 3rd shift  This person will be responsible for the following:
\n 
\ncommunicating expectations;
\nplan, monitor, and appraise job results.
\nWill coach, counsel and discipline employees while enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
\nWill work closely with the Production Manager to meet schedules, inventory control, production planning to support customer's deadlines.
\nWill be over approximately 30 employees. 
\nWill implement process improvements, manage processes, and adhere to safety standards as well as implementing them with the production personnel.
\nPerform work audits to increase efficiencies and reduce scrap. 
\n 
\nREQUIREMENTS:
\n\n

\n
• Associates degree preferred and five (5) years’ experience and knowledge of production processes.

\n

• Preferred three (3) year supervisory experience in industrial environment.

\n

• Supervisory Skills Certificate and Coaching/Counseling training a plus.

\n

• Develop people in an environment that fosters change
