Production Supervisor in Newark
Job DescriptionJob Description
Your tasks:
- Work-load distribution within the shift
- Assignment of tasks and jobs to each team member
- Supervision of the work done by the shift, workers and GAP leaders
- Technical assistance to the team and GAP leaders
- Check-up quality problems, report them, find solutions together with team or superior if necessary; close communication with Head of Production
- Communication with the customer, problem solving, and if quality is not available, responsible for solving quality problems at the customer, able to stop production if necessary
- Solve basic maintenance problems. Report to maintenance problems found during the shift and assist them if necessary
- Coordination of internal logistics, material flow
- Lead and be part of the emergency team of the shift
- Assist new workers with training measures within the GAP standard
- Responsible for the accomplishment of health and safety issues during the shift
- Report of shift indicators, shift activities
- Responsible for the proper compliance of MSES principles, GAP and 5S within the shift
- Validation of all MV-stages according to the MV-Standard
- Report all Safety issues in the warehouse and the production line.
Your Profile:
- 3-5 Years experience within the automotive industry
- Product knowledge
- Quality knowledge regarding the procution line and product
- JIS production experience
- Maintainance knowledge
- Multivalence process
- GAP structure
- 8 Quality Basics
- Standardized work
- 5S
- 1-2 years of Leadership Experience
- Sufficient experience in Microsoft Office Applications
- Internal logistics procedures and stock, inventory knowledge
- GAP Communication
- Visual Management in the GAP
