Production Supervisor in Minneapolis

Labor Solutions has gained partnerships with multiple industrial companies that need our assistance to help with hiring for their job opportunities. We are in search of a Production Supervisor 1st shift to join their team.
Working closely with the Production Leader and Project Managers, the Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that we correctly assemble, fulfill and ship orders intact and on time.
Essential Job Functions
· Work with Production Leader and Project Managers to set project deadlines
· Plan, prioritize, coordinate and manage light assembly, kitting and fulfillment to meet established deadlines while achieving quality standards
· Ensure team leads are aware of day to day targets and responsibilities
· Supervise team leaders; providing constructive feedback/coaching when necessary and listening to their needs, concerns and suggestions
· Ensure packaging is sufficient to eliminate damage during shipment, and work with purchasing to maintain sufficient level of packaging material on hand
· Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments meet specifications
· Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
· Drive continuous process improvements
· Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree
· A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing, fulfillment, or distribution environment
· A minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor or equivalent experience
· Experience managing hourly time and attendance
