Production Supervisor - Medical Device Assembly
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionYoh has an exciting, contract opportunity for an Production Operator to join our Medical Device client. This position plays a key role in improving the production of future of medical devices. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of technician experience in a biotech setting and live within a commutable distance to the worksite in Draper, Utah for an in-person work environment.

Title: Production Supervisor
Compensation: $30-40/hour (depending on experience level)

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of production operators and technicians, including those performing micro-soldering and microscope-based assembly
- Manage production schedules, ensuring throughput and quality targets are met
- Enforce compliance with quality control standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Mentor, train, and develop operators, ensuring consistent methods and positive team culture
- Partner with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to support smooth operations
- Monitor and analyze production metrics (e.g., yield, downtime, throughput) to drive continuous improvement
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and reliability efforts
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence
Qualifications Required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field—or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role (medical device or electronics )
- Strong knowledge of precision assembly processes (soldering, micro-soldering, microscope work)
- Leadership experience with proven ability to coach and develop diverse teams
- Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 13485), safety compliance, and continuous improvement practices (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in regulated environments (FDA, medical device manufacturing, cleanroom protocols)
- Exposure to production/data management tools (MES, SAP, or similar)
- Professional certifications such as CPIM, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent

- Onsite schedule, Monday–Friday
