Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Lead to join our manufacturing team. The Production Lead will oversee daily production activities, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with a strong background in high-speed manufacturing, troubleshooting, team management, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight:
- Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily goals.
- Ensure high-speed manufacturing processes run efficiently and effectively.
- Make informed decisions to resolve issues and maintain productivity.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Train, coach, and evaluate associates to optimize performance.
- Provide constructive feedback and administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Act as a liaison between associates and management to ensure clear communication.
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Utilize troubleshooting skills to address equipment or process challenges.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
- Preferably trained in first aid and safety practices to address workplace incidents.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records for HR purposes, including shift reports, accident reports, and other required documentation.
- Communicate shift results, issues, and improvements to management via multiple platforms.
- Flexibility and Adaptability:
- Ability to work any assigned shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in high-speed manufacturing.
- 1-3 years of manufacturing management experience.
- 1-3 years of troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- 1-3 years of experience evaluating and training associates.
- Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor team members.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across various platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Skills:
- First aid and safety training certification.
- Familiarity with HR documentation and disciplinary procedures.
Working Conditions:
- Team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Ability to adapt to various shifts and work schedules.
