The production supervisor position is responsible for coordinating and assigning the activities of production workers, ensuring that production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and driving P&L results. This position supervises production operations within an assigned areas or during assigned shifts.
Shift: Sat-Tues 12pm-10:30pm
Description:
• Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment.
• Schedule and assign tasks to workers, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity to mee or surpass daily Ke Performance Indicators
• Deliver clear and concise information during shift transition meetings, ensuring the next shift is prepared for success.
• Coordinates the flow of work through the department and ensures that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately.
• Provide training, motivation, and support to employees regarding company and departmental procedures, development opportunities, and departmental processes.
• All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports
Required Skills and Experience
• 1+ years of leadership experience, materials/distribution environment is .
• Capable problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities, demonstrating a strategic approach with a focus on achieving results and fostering continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication.
• Capacity to engage with customers in a professional manner.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Skills and Experience
• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
• Supervising temporary staff.
• Experience working with UKG and Kronos.
• General knowledge of OSHA Standards.
