We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join in a pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Miramar, FL. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production activities, ensure compliance with quality standards, and lead a team to meet production goals efficiently. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with leadership skills and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production operations to ensure products are manufactured on time and meet quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA regulations.
- Train, mentor, and oversee production team members to ensure safety, productivity, and accuracy.
- Coordinate and schedule production runs to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
- Ensure proper documentation of production activities, including batch records, reports, and logs.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and workstations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Communicate production goals, updates, and challenges to management and the production team.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Address and resolve production issues or bottlenecks promptly to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals or a related industry.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in a related field is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GMP standards and FDA regulations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using computer systems for production tracking and reporting.
