3rd Shift Production Supervisor
Kearny, NJ
11pm-730am Mon to Fri
$30 to $32 +Shift Bonus+Overtime
Direct Hire , Union Facility

The supervisor interprets and executes policies that affect production floor staff. The supervisor monitors production floor operations on a daily basis and actively assists or provides direction to floor staff as needed.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Supervises a variety of assembly operations to assemble sub-assemblies and products
• Oversees the electrical and mechanical assembly of parts and components
• Reviews assembly procedures and makes necessary changes to them to increase quality and efficiency
• Schedules assignments and acts as technical advisor to Production Floor staff
• Train new employees
• Evaluates the performance of assigned employees
• Conducts quality and time studies and generates individual quality reports
• Inputs data into Production quality data base system
• Ensures and verifies documentation is in order and understood, such as production drawings, BOM's, work order travelers

Requirements:

• High School graduate or GED; and/or minimum three years' experience in assembly and manufacturing operations. Must have demonstrated leadership skills through experience.
• Ability to work effectively with limited or no supervision
• Ability to communicate verbally
• Excellent time management skills
• Willingness to adapt and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs, Stand and Bend frequently without issue
