We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and support a team of 30–35 employees (with 4 direct leads).
- Monitor performance, provide timely feedback, and support performance reviews.
- Train employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Oversee daily production and assembly line operations; step in as needed to keep lines running.
- Troubleshoot equipment and operational issues, ensuring preventative maintenance practices are followed.
- Monitor production efficiency, material flow, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations; conduct briefings and address hazards promptly.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts professionally.
- Partner with management on continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s ).
- 5+ years of manufacturing/production experience with strong knowledge of production processes.
- 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience (preferably in shift operations).
- Familiarity with automation, machine operation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
- Strong safety mindset, particularly when working with electrical systems.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Positive, encouraging leadership style with strong emotional intelligence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry-related software.
Schedule: 2nd shift, 4 days/week (Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM). Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off.
This is a critical role on our newly launched 2nd shift, and we are looking to move quickly.
