Located: Houston, Tx

Job Summary: MIRATECH is seeking a motivated and experienced Second Shift Supervisor to lead our evening production operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring team performance, product quality, and adherence to safety standards, while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:30 am.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support second shift employees, promoting safety and productivity.
• Lead daily startup and safety meetings to communicate goals and maintain compliance.
• Monitor and guide team performance, offering real-time feedback and coaching.
• Ensure all production tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to resolve challenges and meet production goals.
• Drive quality standards to exceed customer and company expectations.
• Participate in quality and manufacturing engineering initiatives.
• Support and promote continuous improvement across shifts.
• Report on shift activity and performance to management through written and verbal communication.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret production drawings and technical documentation.
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Decision-making ability under pressure with sound problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Secondary education or certifications in manufacturing or continuous improvement .
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift
• Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods of time
