TRC Talent Solutions is looking for 2nd shift Production Supervisor for our client in Milner, GA

Overview:

Daily communication and coordination with teams, other supervisors, and departments. Direct work assignments in accordance with the production schedule- plans and organizes activities of the production/assembly line to meet production deadlines. Supervise a production team. Work proactively to ensure company objectives are met in a timely manner. Effectively communicate and coordinate with your team.

Shift: 2nd shift 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are achieved
• Coach and support employees
• Monitor housekeeping and correct safety issues
• Ensure compliance to environmental, productivity, quality, and health & safety standards
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects
• Prepare and adhere to department budget
• Enforce policies and procedures and apply disciplinary action as needed
• Prepare and maintain production reports and records taking corrective action when necessary
• Coordinate departmental maintenance and engineering needs
• Responsible for inventory analysis
• Order and purchase necessary equipment or materials for assembly or production
• Track absenteeism and timekeeping

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Detail orientated
• Ability to use multiple computer systems and programs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• 5 years working in a manufacturing environment
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a must
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent but not required
