Production Supervisor

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:   Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of employees working in manufacturing. Provides oversight to ensure a safe, effective and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment, ensuring conformance to all quality standards, applicable SOP’s and GMP’s. Has a thorough understanding of equipment operation and basic machine troubleshooting.  

  Requirements: 

• Proven experience working in a leadership role in the manufacturing  industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual – ability to communicate in English and Spanish  
• Sharp production focus with a drive for achieving set goals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 

 Physical Demands: The ideal candidate will be able to:  

·        Work in a hot work environment

·        Stay on their feet for the duration of their shift
·        Lift up to 50 pounds 

      Key Responsibilities: ·        Oversee all aspects of manufacturing on your shift

·        Enforce company policies ·        A champion for Safety ·        Assume responsibility for production personnel, production metrics, equipment and facility condition  ·        Communicate with Production Supervisors from other shifts as well as with upper management·        Minimize scrap and maximize production·        Understand machine operations and be able to fix basic machine problems·        Identify root causes and be able to quickly bring resolution to issues Training
