We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Lubbock, Texas. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing daily production activities, ensuring our products meet high-quality standards, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

What You'll Do:

Lead and Supervise: Directly manage and mentor a team of production associates, providing clear instructions, assigning tasks, and checking work to maintain schedules and production goals.

Drive Production & Quality: Ensure daily production targets are met and that all products adhere to established quality standards and metrics.

Communicate & Coordinate: Facilitate effective communication of daily schedules, goals, and any quality concerns between shifts and with other departments (Sanitation, Warehouse, QA, HR).

Problem Solve: Address and resolve personnel issues on the production floor, investigating concerns, identifying solutions, and recommending appropriate actions.

Ensure Compliance: Train and ensure your team's compliance with all operational procedures, safety regulations, and food safety/quality requirements (SOPs, regulatory standards).

Maintain Standards: Oversee the cleanliness of all production areas and safeguard company equipment and property, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Safety First: Actively participate in safety investigations following any incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.

Continuous Learning: Stay current on industry best practices by attending relevant workshops and training sessions.
What You'll Bring:

3-5 years of proven experience managing or supervising employees in a manufacturing/production environment is required.

Ability to train and enforce food safety, food quality, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.

Strong work history and a demonstrated ability to learn new processes quickly.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Basic decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Intermediate computer skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts, to support a 24-hour production facility.

High school diploma or GED, or 4-5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, walk, and frequently lift materials up to 50 pounds. It also involves frequent twisting, turning, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Work is performed in a warehouse/production environment, which may include exposure to cold temperatures (down to -20 degrees) at times.
