This advanced manufacturer specializes in producing steel products for the automotive industry. Due to the growth in their business, they are looking to hire a Production Supervisor for 1st shift.  This is a position for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. This individual will enjoy the utmost job stability, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to have success and career growth. 

The current opening is for a Production Supervisor.  Main duties include:

• Oversee, mentor, and train plant associates on 1st shift
• Achieve production target by producing quality products on a daily basis
• Strive to achieve the highest product quality possible, resolve any issues in a timely manner
• Immediately address production issues related to breakdowns, scrap, quality, process control
• Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement and six sigma events
• Ensure safety on the production floor

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in similar supervisory position
• Prior work experience in a high-speed/high-volume manufacturing environment
• Ability to work overtime and off-shift as necessary
• Excellent leadership ability, great communication skills
• Prior lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or six sigma experience
