Production Supervisor

Are you an experienced, Production Supervisor with experience of working within a heavy manufacturing background looking for a new role within a leading manufacturing business in Burton on Trent? As a Production Supervisor you will be supervising a team of 10 which includes a team leader and operators. Working 12 hour shifts (Days and Nights rotating) which includes 1 weekend in 3, offering a salary of £50-55K + quarterly bonus.

The Role:



Responsible and accountable for a team of Production Operatives and Line Operatives ensuring all operational and production activities are completed accurately.



Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Responsible for the efficient operation of the production lines minimising down time

* Conduct quality checks in key areas on a regular basis, taking responsibility for the quality competence across the shift

* Development of production team members and operational processes including safety, quality, environmental, customer service, and cost

* Day to day management of your operatives which will include performance management, absence management, and motivation of the team at all times



Suitable Candidate:



* Experienced Production Supervisor from a heavy manufacturing background

* Strong understanding of H&S working practices

* Be able to understand and work to set quality standards

* Clear written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent interpersonal skills
