We are a small company located in Racine WI that has been in business for over 65 years, seeking a hands-on Production Team Leader (supervisor) to join our team! This position provides direction and leadership to assigned personnel and is accountable for line production.

You will oversee the activities of a small team of production workers. If you a looking for a secure long-term job opportunity, then this job may be for you. You must have 3 plus years of leadership responsibility with proven record.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily activities of the production team of 8-10 employees: including assigning, monitoring and evaluating assigned employees' work performance
• Train and supervise manpower - ensure quality, productivity and efficiency at all times.
• Monitor daily output detailing productivity and efficiency.
• Schedule customer production orders to meet customer demands
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain optimum organization and housekeeping to include a safe and organized workplace

​Qualifications:

• Previous hands-on experience in a lead position of 3 plus years.
• Must be competent to perform all department job positions along with the equipment within the department.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to read Blueprints.
• Bilingual a plus preference.
