Position Type: ExemptSummaryThe Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the daily management of dressings plant operations. This role ensures adequate staffing, supports production scheduling, and collaborates across departments to ensure the production of safe and high-quality products.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the dressing plant processing lines.
- Supervise production staff by organizing and monitoring workflow.
- Arrange employee schedules and monitor performance.
- Lead cross-training efforts to ensure flexible staffing coverage.
- Ensure production complies with internal, industry, and government safety and quality standards.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and improved reporting systems.
- Collect, analyze, and report on production performance data.
- Enforce compliance by educating staff on policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with QA to ensure product standards are met.
- Work with the sanitation team to ensure cleanliness and readiness of plant and equipment.
- Partner with maintenance to confirm all equipment is functional prior to production.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Supervisory and staff scheduling experience in a production environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and guidelines.
- Previous food manufacturing experience .
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, handle objects, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
- Moderate noise level consistent with a production facility.
- No travel required.
