We currently have 7 plants located within the United States. The Lathrop plant has been in operation since 1999 in Lathrop, CA.

Our Lathrop, California facility is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Night Shift Production Supervisor. This is a salary exempt position with pay ranging from $93,900 - $107,000 depending upon experience and credentials. This person will work a night shift (17:00-5:25). Non-degreed candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Production Supervisor role or 5 years experience in a Production Lean role.

This is a hands on position responsible for the production of quality pet food while providing the highest return of investment through achieving production and packaging goals while maintaining production expectations. The Production Supervisor will oversee and supervisor employees in various production departments within the operation. They are a leader who works alongside a crew of production workers, with the primary objective of helping to develop and support employee growth while achieving the production goals of the operation.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Actively be in the plant 90% of the shift to ensure smooth production flow being an active production participant.
• Meet/exceed production goals and expectations regularly.
• Become proficient in all production shift positions and operate machinery as needed.
• Assist (as necessary) in the oversight and coordination of employees from other departments including maintenance, warehouse/loading, sanitation, and quality control.
• Minimize wasted resources (ie. materials loss, mixed product, employee time management, machine under-utilization, etc.).
• Maintain production schedules and achieve goals and deadlines.
• Perform quality control checks as needed to support Quality Control Department.
• Assess production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product: Recommend improvements.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and provide direction for the set-up and adjustments of machines.
• Provide proactive support/solutions as needed.
• Provide necessary resources to production personnel and other departments to ensure quality production flow.
• Ensure proper training of employees.
