Production / Sewing Operator $15 per hr

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are filling multiple Production / Sewing Operator positions in the Duquesne area. You will fill, sew and bag pillows according to standards. Newly hired employees expected to perform this job efficiently within 6 weeks. Daylight shift is $15.05 per hour with weekly pay. Similar job titles may include Industrial Seamstress, Tailor, or Embroiderer.
These positions require a 2-2-3 work schedule. The benefits of this schedule are only working 14 days a month, every other week you get OT, and every other week you have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off!
Production / Sewing Operator

• You will be operating single needle sewing machines.
• You will fill pillow shell with fiber, place the pillow on the conveyor and check weight on scales.
• Responsible for replacing needles and re-threading machines.
• Safety is a priority. All employees are responsible for careful and safe use of all equipment and property. Must perform all duties in a way that ensures the safety of oneself and one’s co-workers.
• Experience as an Industrial Seamstress, Tailor, or Embroiderer helpful but not required.

Production / Sewing Operator Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods during shift.

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs. & basic math skills.
• 12 hour shifts: 6a - 6p @ $15.05 per hour, Paid weekly
