Production Planner / Valve Repair Coordinator
Scope of Responsibilities
This position is responsible for planning and coordinating all valve repair requests/orders that come into the facility and administrative responsibilities. The Planner/Shop Coordinator will help manage the overall planning and ordering process and drive continuous improvement through the supply chain and operations to achieve our business objectives.
Essential Job Functions
- Prepare valve repair quotations and order processing.
- Review and plan all repair orders and coordinate final assembly planning through communications with the operations team and sales to meet customer requirements.
- Review inventory on a regular basis.
- Procurement of supplies & materials.
- Be hands-on in all functions of production to help meet customer demands.
- Shipping & Receiving support
- Assist in Purchasing functions as required.
- Administrative/Customer Service:
- Answer phones.
- Greet Customers and other Guests.
- MSDS’s (books and online)
- Understand and support all Company objectives and performs duties delegated by Management.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to be a team player.
- Able to act quickly and show a strong sense of urgency.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the position, along with the ability to work overtime as needed
- The expectation for this position is 50% office and 50% shop work, percentages will fluctuate with workload demands.
Education/Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of three years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, instrumentation and control valve experience a plus.
- MS Word/Excel and Internet experience required.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet development and data analysis.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- This position is onsite at our facility in Victoria, Texas.
