Production Planner/Scheduler

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner/Scheduler to oversee the scheduling and coordination of products through the full production cycle. This role ensures timely planning of manufacturing work orders, supporting both internal performance goals and on-time customer delivery. This is a Temp-to-hire position.

Compensation: $18 - 27/hr, DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm, OT as needed

Location: Auburn, WA

Responsibilities:

• Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements and align production schedules.

• Coordinate the flow of materials to meet production timelines and resolve shortages in partnership with Production and Purchasing.

• Release manufacturing orders for warehouse picking and kitting.

• Communicate with Sales regarding any schedule impacts that may affect customer commitments.

• Monitor and expedite manufacturing builds to ensure deadlines are achieved.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

• Utilize ERP/MRP software and other computer applications to manage scheduling and planning activities.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to actively listen and clearly convey information.

• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address scheduling and customer challenges.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficiency in computer applications; experience with ERP/MRP systems .

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a production planning or scheduling role .
