This includes creating achievable scheduled aligned with demand forecasts, ensuring optimal resource use, and timely order fulfilment.\nAs our Production Planner you will be responsible for:\n * Coordinating purchasing, production, inventory, and sales to minimise waste and downtime.\n * Developing and maintaining short- and long-term production schedules aligned with sales forecasts and customer orders.\n * Managing inventory levels through regular audits, forecasting, and communication with suppliers and distribution centres.\n * Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and packaging to required standards.\n * Monitoring and reporting on obsolete or excess stock, maintaining clear communication with production, accounts, and warehouse teams.\n * Liaising with transport, distribution, and customer service teams to resolve issues and maintain high service levels.\n * Managing customer portals and communications, providing updates on order status, stock availability, and delivery schedules.\n * Tracking KPIs, analyse performance data, and drive continuous improvement across production planning and supply chain processes.\n * Supporting new product line formations and maintain audit-readiness at all times.\nIn order to be successful in this role you must have:\n * Minimum of 1 year experience in a planning role environment ideally within Fast Moving consumer Goods\n * Experience ordering materials and of managing inventory\n * Experience liaising with customer and suppliers.\n * Proven track record in planning and forecasting\n * Experience working with Sage and EDI systems\n * Experience in monitoring stock levels to fulfil orders and minimise waste\n * Proven track record of organisational, planning and forecasting experience\nIt would be great if you had:\n * Knowledge of supply chain within the food industry\n * Knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point / food safety\n * Worked with temperature control food products with short and long shelf life\n * Knowledge of supply chain within the food industry\n * Experience creating daily / weekly production plans / schedules\n * Experience record of experience in customer portals\nIf you feel you have the skills and experience to succeed in this role, we’d love to hear from you!\nClick on “APPLY” today!
