Production Operator in Milwaukee

$19 p/hr

Mon - Thurs 6:30am - 5pm

Summary:

Compound powders that help with metal castings at foundries. Machine operators load a big mixer with different powder minerals with a forklift and mix the material by pushing a few buttons to automate the mixing process. Then the material gets loaded it to a super sack ready for it to either be bagged or put on the shelf for inventory.

Duties:

• Run mixing machines for batch mixing of material.

• Regularly operate forklift.

• Regularly move raw materials from warehousing to blending operations.

• Track and record dosage, lot numbers, scrap, and production issues.

• Housekeeping duties, such as sweeping in maintenance, production, warehouse, and plant

parking areas, and general clean-up. Make sure all material is returned to proper containers or

trash area as directed.

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

• Other duties as required to maintain an efficient operation

PPE:

• Dust mask/respirator – In production
• Hard hat
• Safety glasses
• Long sleeves and long pants
• Steel toed boots
• Gloves

Machine operators will be using a forklift on the regular and lifting
