Production Operator in McDonald

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Production Operator in McDonald, PA

-Train on and operate production equipment as needed
-Apply cooperative attitude and support during day-to-day operations in the form of multitasking including but not limited to assisting with production and packaging of material, plant housekeeping, and off-loading of trucks
-Ensure that product and packages are clean and properly labeled
-Maintain a clean and safe work area by following safety rules, wearing PPE when appropriate, and pro-actively identifying hazards
-Operating forklift trucks effectively
-Capacity to work safely, efficiently and with minimum supervision
-Willingness to understand and demonstrate various government policies, procedures and guidelines as deemed by the supervisor
-Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor

Requirements:
-High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
-Industrial manufacturing experience required.
-Demonstrable experience in working in a team-based environment
-Willingness to work overtime/shifts.
-Ability to lift greater than 50 lbs
-Standard Shifts are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. (1st shift) / 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. (2nd shift.)
-This specific position, the new hire starts on 1st to train and will go to 2nd shift
-There is occasional mandatory overtime, including weekend work on short notice.
