Job Description Summary:
Assembly of individual components to complete sub-assemblies and finished goods.
Packing components for storage or shipment.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Basic math skills.
- Capable of handling bulky and small components with the use of hand tools and magnifier glass if needed.
- Capable of understanding basic drawings for components and visual aids.
- Capable of following written instructions from SOPs.
- Target oriented and believe in teamwork.
- Good organizational skills, management skills and ability to be self-motivated.
- Should have ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with the use of Personal Protection Equipment, and with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work on foot for 8 hours, and to lift, push, and slide packages that weigh up to 50 lbs. on occasions.
- Ability to work independently and safely.
Qualifications Education/Experience:
- Experience working in the Manufacturing Industry.
- Knowledge of operating hand tools.
Duties/Responsibilities: (Position Specific)
- Follows the Work Ticket schedule provided by production supervisor.
- Uses Work Tickets to assemble products by collecting the kit of components prepared by warehouse operators / pickers.
- Makes sure all individual components are properly identified with part number or ID#
- Uses the appropriate SOP, drawings, visual aids, or product catalog to take the components and put them together to convert them into sub-assemblies or finished goods.
- Identifies any missing, lost, or damaged materials listed on the work ticket and immediately notifies the supervisor.
- Fills in the necessary forms or documents associated with parts to assemble (i.e., Work Tickets, scrap form, stock adjustment form, etc.)
- Packs individual components and finished goods as indicated by SOP, drawing, visual aid, or product catalog.

- Segregates any extra or left over materials that will not be packed, and properly identify them with part number, ID#, location, and any available information available, and turns them to warehouse operators.
- Moves completed assemblies to designated area for the next process.
- Ensures all components are properly assembled using the standard operation procedures and visual aids.
- Ensure all components and finished goods are safely and securely packed and labeled for the next process.
- Manages all components and finished goods with appropriate care.
- Keeps organized and clean work areas and carts.
- Assists with training of newly employed workers.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complies with legal requirements.
