Operator 1, Machine – Columbus, NE
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Columbus, NE
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire | On-site

Job Description

We are seeking an Operator 1, Machine to join our production team in Columbus, NE. This position performs routine manufacturing and packaging functions under general supervision, ensuring compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO9000 standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.

• Perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs in compliance with FDA, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and ISO9000 standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and make decisions within established guidelines.
• Support team goals and contribute to a positive and safe work environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of production processes and equipment operation .
• Strong communication skills; ability to read, write, and comprehend specifications in English.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed.

• Shift: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM)
• Work Environment: On-site, manufacturing setting
