Job Title: Production Operator - Assembler
Location: Mustang Ridge, TX
Duration: 12+ Month (Possible to hire)
Shifts: 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description:

• As a Production Operator Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling cockpit components including bracket mounting and wiring harness connections using pneumatic (torque guns) and manual tools. You will follow SOPs and torque specifications to ensure precision assembly and conduct self-inspections and functional tests in compliance with IATF 16949 requirements.
  

Responsibilities

• Assembling mechanical and electronic components
• Performing quality inspections and documenting defects
• Supporting rework and scrap processes
• Maintaining safety compliance including PPE and LOTO procedures
• Performing basic tool maintenance and maintaining 5S standards
• Working within production cycle time (Takt Time) requirements
• Contributing improvement ideas for process optimization
  

Experience & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of recent experience (within the last 6 months) in mechanical or electronics assembly
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
• Proficiency with hand and pneumatic tools
• Ability to read basic technical drawings
• Manufacturing training
