DEPARTMENT: Shop

REPORTS TO: Warehouse/Shop Supervisor

JOB CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt (hourly)

WORKING HOURS: 8:00a – 4:00p, Monday – Friday

OVERTIME: Available at the discretion of the Shop Supervisor

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full Time or Part-time

 

Position Summary: Performs typical and general shop operations to support the assembly floor

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

·       Willingness to learn and operate the following: die cut, laminate, slitter, saw and flashcut machinery

·       Product assembly using a variety of small machines, tools and components.

·       Performs other work-related duties: bagging, boxing, pulling stock to fulfill orders.

·       Shipping and Receiving functions: wrapping and weighing skids, loading and unloading trucks.

·       Ability to understand and process customer orders.

·       Strong team player.

·       Organize and track inventory levels.

·       Detect and report defective product/material or questionable conditions to supervisor.

·       Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

·       Expected to be present (not absent) and on-time for work shift.

·       All other duties as assigned.

 

Starting wage: $14.00/per hour with a 60 day trial period
