Production Operator in Akron

Job DescriptionJob Description

Job responsibilities include material handling, forklift operation, batch loading, record keeping, batch processing, product certification sampling, packaging, and cleanout of process equipment in an ISO 9001 certified management system. 

Applicant qualifications:

·       High School Diploma/GED required

·       Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience

·       Required to fulfill Operator’s job requirements which include set-up, manufacture, package, cleanout and work area maintenance

·       Meet safety objectives and goals

·       Ability to wear required safety gear

·       Ability to multitask

·       Forklift experience required

·       Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       General Math skills required (addition, subtraction, and percentages)

·       Able to function effectively in a team environment and work independently once training completed

·       Ability to solve problems effectively

·       Able to move materials and packages up to 70 lbs.

·       Excellent attendance and punctuality is required

·       Overtime on occasion based on production requirements

Training will take place during first shift 7am-3:00pm. Candidates will be working 1st shift, but may have to work 2nd shift at times 11am-7pm.
