Production Operations Manager - Manufacturing (Mid Shift) in Coppell

$75k-80k + Bonus + Overtime + Full Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k match)
Mid Shift: (Monday - Friday 12:00 pm – 8:00pm); availability to work extra hours as needed,
Leading Print Production Facility in the financial technology space seeks Production Operations Manager with 2-3+ years supervisory experience overseeing team operations staff in a manufacturing or production environment / facility and 4+ years overall experience working in a production environment, manufacturing facility or production warehouse – to oversees all aspects of printing in a production operations environment, ensuring the operation is running efficiently, take responsibility for signing off on all jobs – including materials, machine operation and overseeing all labor on the Production floor to ensure the operation is running efficiently. Must have experience doing staff performance reviews and supervising / managing production floor operations and people. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus (not required).

The role is 5 days a week onsite, in the Coppell, TX (Texas) production facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance PEQ (Productivity, Efficiency, and Quality)
- Manage departmental expenses (commodities, labor, discretionary spending)
- Create of, and adhere to, capacity plans that support client commitments to meet or exceed client SLA’s (Service Level Agreements).
- Provide performance feedback and guide talent development of direct reports and team members through regular and frequent feedback
Requirements:
- High School Diploma Required. Associates or Bachelors degree is a plus;
- Or 5 years experience working in a Production environment
- A minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Must be able to lead courageously and develop associates to maximize their potential
- Strong PC/ systems skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to understand and work with budgets and analyze data to make operational decisions that improve productivity, efficiency and quality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal); must be able to effectively monitor operator performance and provide feedback to assigned staff and management
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be flexible to work overtime, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Proficient in English; Spanish communication skills a plus (not required).
Full Time Employee role: The work hours are: Mid Shift: Monday - Friday 12:00pm – 8:00pm; availability to work extra hours as needed, as well as some weekends and holidays, based on Production volume. This is an on-site role.
