Production Manage/Plant Manager/Tank car

We are seeking a Production Manage/Plant Manager/Tank Car to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers. We are a full-service independent railcar repair service for all type of tank cars in Angleton. Relocation package if needed. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
• Plans all day to day production activities at facility. Looking at inbound cars, scheduling, flowing through depts in right order in a timely manner and prepare for cars.
• Creating and maintaining production schedule.
• Cleaning, removing valve from tanks, repairing tanks, blasting and cleaning tank, etc. 
• Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
• Invoicing and communication with customers.
• Assisting with status reporting.
• Lead production meetings.
• Oversee all supervisors.
• Understand supply and vendor relationships.
• Reduce day to day tasks and decisions going to owner/CEO
• AAR Billing
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields.
• Monday-Friday 6am-4:30  Saturday 5am-12pm
• 5-7 years tank car repair with 3-4 with supervision
• Knowledge of production tools and equipment
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
