Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting, repairing, and operating machinery to meet production needs. This role requires strict adherence to food safety and quality guidelines while ensuring consistent and efficient operations.
Shift: Varies by assignment Machine Operator – Job Description

• Follow all safety rules and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Set up, change over, adjust, repair, and operate all machinery and equipment as needed.

• Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition for on-time startup.

• Make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent product flow.

• Perform process control and quality checks.

• Operate date coders and verify accuracy of code dates on packaging.

• Clean equipment according to sanitation procedures.

• Support Quality Assurance by collecting product samples and completing other assigned tasks.

• Troubleshoot basic issues with processing equipment.

• Accurately complete daily production reports and documentation.

• Assist in training new team members.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Positive attitude with the ability to work well with others, including co-workers, management, and customers

• Reliable transportation is a must

• Must maintain good attendance and punctuality

• Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs regularly, and up to 50 lbs occasionally
