• Shift A: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Shift B: Monday – Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
• Shift D: Friday – Sunday, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM; Monday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
40 hours per week, Non-Exempt
Salary: $19 - $21 per hour

Job Description
The Production Machine Operator – Fixture & Changeover Specialist is responsible for
operating, maintaining, and performing fixture changeovers on specialized production
machinery, including IDS systems and printer fixtures. This role requires strong attention to
detail, mechanical aptitude, and a focus on safety—especially when handling high-value
changeover components.

Tasks
• Operate production machines including IDS bagging systems, printer units, and other
automated equipment.
• Perform fixture changeovers safely and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Follow standard operating procedures and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols during
setup, changeovers, and maintenance.
• Ensure all equipment is operated in accordance with safety guidelines and company
standards.
• Inspect fixtures and tools for wear or damage and report any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams for troubleshooting or machine
setup support.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including proper storage of
fixtures and tools.
• Complete daily production logs and communicate any operational issues or delays to
the supervisor.

• Support continuous improvement efforts related to setup time, quality, and machine
reliability.
 

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience operating production or packaging machinery.
• Experience with changeover fixtures and automated machinery .
• Familiarity with LOTO procedures and general industrial safety practices.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, technical drawings, and machine manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational habits.
Skills and Abilities Required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to handle tools, fixtures, and machine components.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Timeliness: must be on time or early to be prepared for the shift.
• Work Ethic: focus on improving current operation methods and willing to work extra
time when needed.
• Detail Oriented: ensure final output meets quality expectations and make necessary
adjustments.
• Communication: provide clear reports on production status or machine issues.
