Production Machine Operator
Pay Rate : $22 - $24/hr, $1/hr increase for night shift
Location: Conroe, TX 77303
Schedule : 12 hour shift, 6am to 6:30pm or 6pm to 6:30am
Rotates between day and night shift every month

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of production machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards. This role requires mechanical aptitude, familiarity with production operations and equipment and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. The Machine Operator will play a vital role in maintaining efficient production processes within a fast-paced factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor machinery used in the production of paper products.
• Monitor production process, ensure uniterrupted and efficient production.
• Work with computerized production equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality control checks to verify product specifications.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with packaging and assembly line tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards and manufacturing protocols.
• Collaborate with team members on the production process.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery used in production processes machines
• Prior production experience ; knowledge of paper product production is a plus
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent computer skills and experience working with computerized production equipment is highly desirable.
• Experience with quality control in the production process.
• Ability to handle hand tools and perform basic math calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements.
• Experience in materials handling, or assembly line processes
• Valid forklift certification is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
