Production Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, California

Crystal Instruments is growing and looking for a Production Engineer to join our team. This role involves hands-on assembling, testing, packaging, and shipping our vibration control and data acquisition systems to customers. You'll also help manage parts, vendors and production records to keep everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and solder electronic boards and hardware systems
• Test and inspect products to ensure quality and performance
• Package and prepare units for customer shipment
• Maintain and update BOMs (Bills of Materials) and production records
• Manage software license keys and configuration before shipping
• Work with vendors for parts, cables, and assemblies
• Track inventory, parts usage, and production status
• Help improve production processes and documentation

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong hands-on skills in electronics assembly and soldering
• Basic understanding of mechanical assembly and hardware packaging
• Organized and detail-oriented with good documentation habits
• Comfortable using test tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• $70k–$90k base salary (depending on experience)
