Production Engineer

My Client is currently looking for a Production Engineer to work alongside there engineering department and to support the shopfloor.

* Many years’ experience’ in the engineering background.



* Fully able to read drawings and customer standards.



* Able to programme and set Mazak and Doosan 2-axis lathe machine with live tooling from scratch.



* Programming will be on the control at the machine as we don’t use a cad system to generate the CNC programs.



* Involvement with shopfloor process issues.



* Ordering of new tools for NPI projects.



* Involvement with the toolmakers on all new work.



* Speeding up of current production processes to meet customer requirements.



* Working hours are 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 to 12:30 on Friday’s. They will be times where overtime will be needed to work.



* £38.000PA (£18.73PH)



* This is a full-time role and is hourly paid.



* Holiday Entitlement = 33 days = 6.6 weeks holiday
