Production/Assembly Technician

Woking, Surrey

£12.21 per hour – working 8.00am to 4.00pm

Temp to Perm



We’re looking for someone with a steady hand, sharp eye, and a love of detail to join our team. This entry-level role involves learning and performing a variety of tasks that require precision, attention to detail, and careful handling of components. Initial training and skill development will be provided, with responsibilities including assembly, inspection, cleaning, packaging, and general process support.



Perfect for anyone who enjoys crafts, DIY, or precise hands-on work!



This is a temp to perm role, so we are looking for candidates who are available immediately.



Key Responsibilities:



* Follow established processes, work instructions, and safety procedures accurately.



* Perform detailed assembly or inspection tasks using hand tools, magnification devices, or other support equipment.



* Assist with cleaning, preparing, and maintaining equipment or fixtures as needed.



* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.



* Adhere to all relevant safety, hygiene, and operational standards, including working in controlled environments if required.



* Operate basic measurement or recording tools as required.



* Assist with packaging, labeling, or preparation of items for shipment or storage.



Required Skills and Attributes:



* Strong manual dexterity and excellent eye-hand coordination.



* High attention to detail and ability to work with small, precise components.



* Comfortable working in a seated position for extended periods.



* Good visual vision



* Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.



* Basic mathematical skills.



* Punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions carefully.



* Interest in tasks requiring patience, focus, and precision—experience in arts, crafts, or similar hobbies is beneficial.
