Job Description
- They are looking for a Production & Assembly Technician to work with their clients to deliver outstanding retail marketing campaigns, strengthening their market position and positively effect sales.
- Technicians perform equipment setup, operation, equipment adjustments and minor preventative maintenance tasks to meet all standards for safety, quality and efficiency. They run tests on all assemblies and equipment to test for safety and productivity before they are put into production
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble materials
- Perform complex and advanced assembly of displays according to established specifications and instructions
- Strive to meet customer expectations and product specifications
- Utilise assembly and test procedures to promote production of quality products
- Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard condition to the Production Manager
- Ensure all logbooks are maintained according to standard operating procedures
- Perform equipment assembly according to technical drawings
- Perform pre-assembly activities such as cleaning and lubricating
- Perform final checks and adjustments for any snags to ensure high quality finishes
- Perform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacing, refitting, and adjusting displays as required
- Maintain work area clean, safe and orderly
