Production and Quality Operator

Are you detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment? We're currently seeking a Temporary Quality Sorting Operative to support day-to-day operations within a dynamic manufacturing setting.



Contract Type: Temporary (ongoing)

Location: Rugby

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, shifts between 7am-7pm



Key Responsibilities:



Operate and maintain both manual and automated product sorting processes

Inspect product quality and identify nonconformities

Manage stock control of sorted and unsorted materials

Label finished products accurately and efficiently

Use systems such as PDS, SAP, Infinity, and production databases

Support continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and food safety

Attend relevant quality assurance meetings as required

Manage packaging in the sorting area to ensure smooth workflow



What We're Looking For:



5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English

Fluent in written and spoken English

Intermediate computer skills

Familiarity with ISO, HACCP, or FSSC systems is advantageous

Previous experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance is a plus

A proactive, safety-first mindset and a keen eye for detail
