Job DescriptionJob Description
The Product Validation Engineering will be responsible for executing and analyzing product testing in accordance with Military standards and company procedures. Additionally, the Product Validation Engineering will support the Product Validation team by updating and creating test fixture designs, compiling and organizing product data, and contributing to other projects as assigned.
This role supports team objectives and initiatives and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a hands-on environment, helping to develop strong problem-solving and analytical skills in a real-world product validation setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute product testing according to Military standards (MIL) and company procedures.
- Perform thorough analysis and interpretation of recorded product data.
- Compile and organize new and historical test data.
- Update existing test fixtures with a design to improve test repeatability and efficiency.
- Help update existing test report tags to enhance searchability and accessibility.
- Support other Engineers with instrumentation and data collection.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Material Science/Engineering at an accredited college or university.
- Must be able to work full-time on-site in our Wallingford, Connecticut office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in technical writing.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Experience with SolidWorks
