Product/Process Engineer

Provides manufacturing engineering support across all phases of the investment casting process. Works directly with customers, shop floor, and outside vendors.
Pay Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Supervisor may assign other duties.
- New product introduction/development per customer blueprint requirements.
- Develop gating designs and run simulation software to optimize gating.
- Work with toolmakers to develop wax injection tooling and fixtures.
- Establish process steps for all in-house and outside vendor operations.
- Schedule work operations at all process steps.
- Work with outside vendors, including heat treat, machine shops, NDT facilities and labs.
- Release new products to production department.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

- 2 years in manufacturing environment or relevant .
- Undergraduate degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Self-motivated individual with experience working as a team.
- Ability to create and implement advanced manufacturing processes.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Blueprint reading.
- Software proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel & Project, SolidWorks, MasterCam, SolidCast
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Both office and shop floor environments daily. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Note
Training Required: Miller Castings requires all new hires to complete multiple training sessions within HR and Engineering departments to familiarize themselves with company standards and protocols.
1- Open Position- Exempt- Hours are from 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
