As a Product Engineer II, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of our cutting-edge microwave and millimeter-wave technology products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
· Develop and design MIC and MMIC based RF multi-chip modules, amplifiers, and subsystems.
· Lead the creation and release of RF commercial, military, and flight products.
· Ensure product performance and reliability through comprehensive analysis, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for product non-conformities.
· Design to military/flight standards with formal verification.
· Deliver engineering tasks timely: from design to production documentation.
· Contribute to proposals through design concepts, technical writing, and cost estimates.
· Prepare and deliver design reviews.
· Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineering team members.
· Address engineering and production challenges across RF, electrical, mechanical, and testing.
· Develop and release product documentation, including test procedures and datasheets.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and project progress, while anticipating issues and managing costs.
· Transfer prototypes and documentation to production, and support production enhancements.
· Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to ensure the timely procurement of materials and components.
· Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and standards to keep our products competitive.
· Adhere to QuinStar procedures and safety guidelines.
· Support special projects, providing additional assistance and resources as needed.

Requirements:
· Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by Federal Government.
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in RF component, amplifier, subsystem design, and development.
· Proficiency in analog, digital, and RF circuit development and analysis.
· Knowledge of RF theory and familiarity with RF design software.
· Experience with RF circuit verification using lab test equipment.
· Ability to understand and review mechanical designs, especially thermal concepts.
· Proficient in using design tools like Spice, HFSS, AWR, Altium, AutoCad, or Solidworks.
· Expertise in Thermal design and analysis.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Experienced with LabView, Vee, Python, or Matlab for automation and analysis.
· Understanding of micro-controller applications.
· Self-motivated with a strong desire for continuous learning and professional development.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
· Ability to stay in stationary position for extended length of time.
· Remove or replace up to 20 pounds.
· Positioning, arranging, or moving items up to certain heights or at ground level.
· Occasional ascending/descending of Ladders.
· Ability to use/work on small parts or tools for an extended period of time.
· Work using a microscope.
